1-2 chooks 1 onion per chook 1 carrot per chook Herbs to your liking Garlic Salt n pepper 1 litre of water per chook Simmer on edge of campfire for 8 hrs ( check water level hourly) Drain the water n put back in camp oven... add instant gravy mix Seperate all the meat from the chooks n add to camp oven gravy mix Put rolls in foil to crisp up and serve the chook n gravy in the roll.. Use the bones and carrot and onion to make a soup... just add noodles, any extra veg or flavouring and left over chook n your belly will be full for day.
